    Hi, I'm Michelle Arcadia Keene.  My nickname is my initials, MAK.  I am American Indian Philippine Multi race female Born and raised in Skowhegan Maine since 1980. My nickname was given to me when I lived in Atlanta, GA (almost 18 years of my life).

    I am a talented artist who has been drawing since I was 4 years old.  I was noticed by my kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Aldridge, in 1985 at the North Elementary School in Skowhegan, Maine.  I was asked to draw a horse for a drawing contest and won!  My horse drawing was posted in our schools kitchen cafeteria.

    I have been drawing and doing art ever since.  I attended the Art Institute of Atlanta Decatur for Graphic Design for 2 years but decided to keep drawing instead.  My major accomplishments have reached so many people.  Please check out my gallery of art.  My favorite media is pencil sketching and caricature artwork.  My paintings take a lot of time and detail.  I can do most custom artwork that you want.   Notify me with your ideas would love to hear them.

 

    I'm an experienced artist who has done portraits, drawings, face painting, and hair braiding at the Skowhegan State Fair for 4 years and Oosoola days in Norridgewock for 2 years and maybe you have also seen me at the Recreation Center at the craft events.  I fill out applications to vendor at events in many parts of Maine.  I also travel to do hair braiding for those who have a hard time getting to me.  Feel free to see if I could drive to your nearest locations in the privacy of your own home.  There is a travel cost.

    My lifestyle has been very universal with meeting people and locations.  As a child I was born in a broken home and raised in a dysfunctional family, withstanding abuse and racism.  My parents divorced when I was very young and I had a disappearing father.  My parents still taught me the word of God, which I will always carry with me.  I use my talents to beat strongholds that try to bind me down to my past.  I'm very understanding, caring, and loving.  I can't wait to meet you if I haven't yet.  I hope you enjoy my gift from the one above, the Lord.  God bless everyone.  Please don't forget to rate, like, and subscribe to my page.

    My goal is now in 2026 is to share my talent with u all so look out for my 1 hr class sessions.  I will be teaching braiding and drawing ages 5 and up.  It will be fun.  Keep your head up the world has it's ups and downs.  If you ever in need of a prayer ..I would love to.  Hope to see u soon.
